What a weekend it was, 4 divers went to do their Advanced Divers course and 6 qualified. All I can say is, CONGRATULATIONS !!! to the 2 van Schalkwyk ladies, who against all odds struggling with ear problems, took the challenge, overcame their fears and not only finished the basic skills in a breeze, but was willing to tackle a night dive with a real real deep dive on top of that.
After a bit of a bumpy navigation dive heh-heh-heh, Juan and Andre, did a perfectly executed search and recovery exercise. (Thank goodness for that, as it was my weight belts and cylinder they had to recover).
Nobody could match Alistair and Roxanne navigation though, flawless.
Michele and Riaan, all I can say is, Riaan is a real DM down there, and Michele did it all, she came as a observer to do some skills, and went away a qualified advanced diver…NO FEAR! I am so impressed.
Thank you guys, it was a great weekend! Just sad we did not have more dives together in Malongane Mozambique.
